The Annual Report of the National Administration of Power Plants and Electric Transmission (UTE) is an important report that summarises the main guidelines, milestones, challenges and results of the state-owned company after each fiscal year. This document is a good tool to understand the current state and future projections of the electricity sector in Uruguay. The “Energy Indicators” report contains for the first time some of the most outstanding results of the UTE annual report, including the energy balance, which details the energy flow from generation to final consumption.
